card table playhouse

i'm finally done!(well, not really, i think i will do some more work on the windows) without my SIL abby's great ideas it wouldn't have been nearly the play house it is.
here is the outside:
the little ribbon thing by the door is to hang a bell on (for a door bell)
i acidentially sewed the door on upside down, im not sure if i'll get around to fixing it.
here is the inside:

the frame above the fireplace is made to hold a 5 x 7 picture. the apples and pears on the side are just pockets.

questions:

i beleive the card table that i used is about 33 inches square if i remember right. it's pretty little inside but it's def big enough for my 3 yearold to have a good time.

That is so darling. Is everything appliqued on with iron on or what did you do? Where did you get the measurements from?

Did you use a pattern, or did you just make it up? Fabulous!

i don't think i will be selling these, however there is a lady on etsy.com that seels them.
i appliqued everything on, there is iron on stich witchery as well under all of it.
to get the measurments, just measure your card table and add 1/2 inch to eash side to allow for seam allowance.

This is the cutest one I have ever seen! You really put a lot of work into it.

I am making one for my primary room. I have just decided that. How will it help with Primary? It probably won't. But I want to make one!

Wow! This is incredible! I hope I remember to try this when my now 3 month old is a toddler. Better yet, I might have to ask Grandma to sew it for me. I don't think I have the skills or the patience for something as cool as this. :-)

This is darling! What was the size of the card table that you used? Was it big enough for your kids to play under? or did you make a frame for it?
Thanks!

I am wanting to make one of these and had a question. can you see the thread lines on the inside and outside, or did you do two layers to hide those? Or did you even sew the embellishments on? Thanks! It's so cute!

Your playhouse came out so cute! I just finished my own and THEN stumbled upon your site! I wish I had thought to decorate the inside too like yours. I especially love the fireplace!

I love this play tent. I wondering how difficult it would be to turn into a free standing play tent/ wendy house. My granddaughters have been nagging me to make one for then for indoor and outdoor use. Thank you so much for your web- site we don't have anything like this in the U.K. Keep up the great work.
